We created this map showing the California RDOF Gigabit and 100 megabit service deployment from the publicly available data at the FCC released today. Etheric (green) has been assigned the mountainous central and Northern Pacific coastal counties largely. Out of state firm LTD Broadband (yellow) picked up the Northern Sierras and San Diego. Geolinks (blue) got much of the central valley. Cal.net (red) and in particular Consortium 2020 (orange) bid down to 10% of starting price, badly damaging the value of their contracts, in our opinion. This is not necessarily good for the state of California, but saves the federal government money if they can deliver at this low bid. Finally Frontier (brown) obtained projects around Chico, South Of San Luis Obispo and in the Wine Country.
